Duran Lantink + Lisette Ros at DDW17

Dutch fashion designer Duran Lantink approached me to collaborate at the ‘In No Particular Order’ exhibition at the Van Abbemuseum, organized by the Stimuleringsfonds as part of the Dutch Design Week 2017 in Eindhoven. Duran was one of the nine designers/artists to exhibit an especially created piece regarding with one of the nine themes that formed the core of the entire exhibition. I was asked to be the ‘living fluid connection’ between the diverse themes [and works].

I dove into each of the themes and pinpointed the essence for myself, which I then translated into one banal bodily action which I emphasized, repeated and isolated [three of my performance techniques]. Thus, during my performance days the spectator could find me at diverse spots in no particular order as an organic consistent element. I was wearing the creations of Duran Lantink every single day.
